The Mac Studio lineup offers two powerful options for users with different requirements.

The M2 Max Mac Studio starts at $1,999, with the base model featuring a 12-core CPU, 30-core GPU, and 16-core neural engine. The standard spec also includes 32GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage.

The M2 Max has storage upgrades of 1TB, 2TB, 4TB, or 8TB available, along with the option to also upgrade to a 38-core GPU. It can be upgraded to 64GB RAM or 96GB RAM (the latter requires the 38-core GPU). A memory bandwidth of 400GB/s results in up to 1.8 times faster CPU performance and 3.6 times faster GPU performance than the M1 Max.

The M2 Ultra Mac Studio, meanwhile, starts at $3,999 and is designed for professionals who require even greater power and capabilities. It features two M2 Max chips combined, effectively doubling the capabilities of a single M2 Max chip. The base configuration includes a 24-core CPU, 60-core GPU, and 32-core neural engine. All with 64GB of memory, and a 1TB SSD.

Users have the option to upgrade to a 76-core GPU and memory can be expanded to 128GB or 192GB. Storage upgrades include 2TB, 4TB, and 8TB of SSD storage. The M2 Ultra chip is lightning fast with a memory bandwidth of 800GB/s, with up to 3.3 times faster CPU performance and 6.1 times faster GPU performance compared to its predecessor — the M1 Ultra.

The new pro display starts at $1,599 and is configurable with additional stands or nano-texture display, depending on which better fits your budget.
