Apple has started up its beta testing program for another cycle, providing the first developer betas for iOS 11.4.1, watchOS 4.3.2, and tvOS 11.4.1 one day after the public release of the current versions of the operating systems.
Beta code for the new betas is available for developers to download from the Apple Developer Center, or for devices already enrolled into Apple's testing program, an over-the-air update. The public beta versions are usually released a few days after the developer beta counterparts.
At present, none of the new betas provide details about what each contains. The minor increment of the version numbers suggests each to include bug fixes and performance enhancements for elements introduced in the recent public releases.
The first iOS 11.4.1 beta has build number 15G5054c. The initial watchOS 4.3.2 bears build number 15U5053b, while the first tvOS 11.4.1 beta is build 15M5054b.
AppleInsider is currently testing out the new betas to find out what new features have been included, if any.
AppleInsider, and Apple itself, strongly advise against installing beta releases on mission-critical hardware, due to the potential loss of data that can occur.
