The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro presales have done well in India, thanks to authorized resellers offering monthly payment options and robust trade-in offers.
The iPhone 12 line is seeing promising sales numbers in India, primarily due to attractive offers by carriers and authorized resellers.
This year marks the first iPhone cycle that customers in India can buy directly from Apple, as India gained its first online Apple Store in the country in September.
Industry experts also believe Apple's choice to refresh its iPhone 12 line has likely lead to a repeat of the success that Apple saw with the iPhone 11.
"With more iPhone users looking for an upgrade from their older-generation iPhones, Apple's decision to reinvigorate its new product line-up across price-points is helping it," said Prabhu Ram, Head-Industry Intelligence Group (IIG), CMR told IANS, according to ZeeNews.
CMR points out that Apple's iPhone shipments have been growing 67 percent year-on-year in the third quarter of 2020 and are expected to increase in the run-up to the holiday season.
The base-model iPhone 12 can be purchased for as low as Rs 47,900 after trade-in, whereas the base iPhone 12 Pro can be purchased for Rs 85,900 with trade-in.
