The 8K Thunderbolt 4 Docking Station from j5create is packed with ports and supports dual 4K 60Hz monitor output, single 4K 144Hz output, or single 8K output. Users also benefit from 96W passthrough charging when connecting to a MacBook with a single Thunderbolt cable.

Some companies are coming out with thunderbolt 5 docks @ 80Gbps.
AI has even noted it, more exiting than yet another Tb4 dock.
Gigabit Ethernet is low end today. Once your Dock crests the $299, IP networking has to take a jump in speed. USB ports and ability to run multiple monitors are simple table stakes today for Docks.
