Is it possible to pin a widget in the lock screen itself? If you are in the fifth screen (inside home screen) do you need to swap 5 times to get the widgets?
Widget cards should have a solid white color. The transparent gaussian blur is not easy on the eye, it's distracting, and it makes info harder to see and read.
Would have been great too if they were contextual and location aware instead of user configured order of widgets.
I'm looking forward to this update. Lots of handy new features and tweaks that make the UI more useful and easier to navigate around. Wish they would've implemented them in earlier OS versions. Better late than never I suppose.
software is iterative. evolutionary. it does not spring forth from a sea shell fully formed. it is the product of iterative improvement by many people over time. thus this is not late functionality, and to suggest that is to reveal a naive view of how the things we use come into being.
