Looks like a nice improvement to me. They seemed to have lost their way a bit with Control Center in the previous release with having to swipe to get to some things.  This seems like a step in the right direction.

I do, however, wish there was a way to make sure the music control is pinned to the bottom of the screen.  If it ends up in the top, for one handed operation I'll have to bring up Control Center, then double tap home to bring the screen down, then use the music control.

 yeah that's a great point. With the new larger sizes, I find the lower positions (on screen, apps, etc) to be more valuable than the higher positions
