Amazon Deal of the Day: MacBook Air on sale for record low $679

Update: The Nov. 24 Daily Deal is over, but Amazon is still knocking $300 off the 2017 MacBook Air, matching Costco's advertised Thanksgiving doorbuster deal.

Amazon's daily special applies to the standard Mid 2017 13-inch MacBook Air with a 1.8GHz dual-core Core i5 processor, 8GB of memory and a 128GB SSD. It also has a variety of ports not found in newer models, such as two USB 3 ports, a Thunderbolt 2 port, SDXC card slot and a MagSafe 2 power connector.

Retailing for $999, this MacBook Air deal delivers $320 in cash savings today only. Supplies may be limited and Amazon's Apple deals have been known to sell out quickly, especially considering the $679 price beats Costco.com's upcoming $699 Thanksgiving doorbuster deal by $20.
