Mobile accessory maker Moment has released a new line of AntiGlare CPL lenses compatible with iPhone to cut down on reflections when shooting outdoors.
The new line of circular polarizing light (CPL) anti-glare filters cut glare, control reflections, and make colors pop when shooting in harsh lighting. They can also aid in bringing out more details in the shadows and shooting at reflective surfaces. CPL filters are widely used in professional photography and commonplace in a photographer's gear pack.
The filters use premium fused-silica optical glass and 16 coating layers for the utmost clarity and durability. The edge is aerospace-grade metal with machined texture around the edge for smooth rotation and easy removable. They can be stacked with Moment's other filters including its NDs, Cinebloom Diffusion, and UV.
Moment's filters come in 58mm, 62mm, 67mm, 72mm, 77mm, 82mm sizes. To use on iPhone, you can use the 67mm size paired with Moment's 67mm Filter Mount.
They are available to order now for $54.99

I have some of their lenses. But this is close to the price of the lens. What I would rather see is a new, higher grade of lenses for the new 12 Max wide cameras. The advantage there is one, the much larger sensor, and two, IBIS. The advantage there for lens makers is that Apple’s lens is now fixed in place, and not vibrating around. That’s important for lens element alignment. With the built-in lens moving around to compensate for shake, it’s a matter of luck if the lens is centered when a picture is taken. Element skew causes a number of imaging problems, limiting the ultimate IQ.
