Apple has reorganized the structure of its website to separate its Services business away from hardware, with new sections in the top bar including "Only on Apple," "Accessories," and "AirPods."
Following the conclusion of its "Unleashed" special event on Monday, Apple updated its website with new products. The company also took the opportunity to refresh the way customers navigate the site, to separate out its products and services.
The sections at the top of Apple.com lose "Music" from the list, but gain others, namely links to "AirPods," "Only on Apple," and "Accessories." The "TV" section has also been changed to "TV & Home."
The new AirPods section is really a reworking of the Music area, with AirPods being the main focus and Apple Music as a secondary element. Beats are no longer listed in the part, nor are HomePod, HomePod mini, iPod touch, Gift Cards, nor Music Accessories.
The updated "TV & Home" section contains the Apple TV range, along with Apple TV+, HomePod mini, the Home app for HomeKit, and related smart home accessories.
The new Only at Apple section is a video-heavy page that collects together all of its main online services, including Apple TV+, Apple Music, Apple Fitness+, Apple Arcade, Apple News+, iCloud, Apple Podcasts, Apple Books, Apple Card, and Apple Wallet. It also suggests to users to take up the Apple One bundle to save money on their subscriptions.
