Apple could raise iPhone 15 Pro storage to 2TB

The iPhone 15 Pro could offer potential buyers more space to work with, as a rumor claims Apple could bump the maximum storage capacity to 2TB.
Apple currently sells the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max in a choice of four capacities, ranging from 128GB to 1TB. For the fall lineup, Apple could go one step bigger.
In a posting to Naver, serial leaker "Yeux1122" claims the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models will have a 2 terabyte option for 2023. The leaker doesn't offer any other detail, other than it was sourced from a vendor.
While rumors about expanded storage haven't circulated, it has been proposed that Apple could raise the cost of the Pro models. It's plausible that a storage capacity increase could help encourage consumers to pay more for their devices, on top of an expected price rise.
For some users, especially videographers and creatives, the extra capacity will be welcomed when filming copious amounts of 4K footage. Though 1TB is a lot for most users, video is a highly consumptive file type, and the extra terabyte could be justified by some users.

Anyone else feeling underwhelmed by the iPhone 15 rumored features? Between faster processor, thinner bezels, and larger storage, there isn' much to get excited about this time around. I was a bit excited about the prospect of a periscope lens as I had always wanted my phone's camera to go beyond its anemic optical zoom of 3x in my 14 Pro Max after seeing the the amazing zoom capabilities in some Chinese companies showcased over the past 2-3 years (e.g. clearly seeing the chess board of people playing in the park - from the 20th floor!). But since the periscope rumor came out, I also saw another rumor that it'll be < 10x optical zoom - if it shows up at all.
I guess if we want innovative new Apple products, we have to look to the Apple Watch and new sensors - since a Vision Pro people would want to buy in mass is still a few years away.
Makes sense. There's definitely a market as identified in this article for this much storage. And Apple makes SO. MUCH. PROFIT. on what it charges for iPhone storage that I'm sure it will offer a 2TB option as long as it's possible.
I am wondering when they will add 3D camera feature? iMovie has already been updated with a 2D/3D section. It's the future...it's happening. It would make sense to me to add it to the MAX PRO this year and then make it standard next year when the Vision Pro hits the market.
It's the only feature I would find interesting.
Hmm… 2TB storage on a phone is overkill for most people, the 10% record that record a lot of video and try to keep every video they ever record on the iPhone are the only people who may need such a high level of storage?
I have an iPad Pro with 1TB of storage bought four years ago I have 69 TV episodes, 10 movies and 17,500 songs after 13 years, and I am only at 40% of the capacity, which means I have 683.5 gig left to use, if I were to upload the rest of the movies and TV shows from my computer, using handbrake to convert, every DVD and every CD in the house. I could use another 300 gigs of storage which would be probably in the neighborhood 400 TV episodes, 100 movies and 100 CD’s and still wouldn’t get to 1TB.

I bought a 1TB iPhone 13 Pro and use the storage mainly for lots of symphonies and operas… . just like an iPod… 420GB so far.
I'll shoot occasional photos and short 4K videos, that's about it.
Maybe in a few years I'll need 2TB. Hopefully it becomes an option.
