Apple releases macOS Ventura 13.6, iOS & iPadOS 16.7, watchOS 9.6.3, macOS Monterey 12.7

The newest version of macOS Ventura is now available

In a flurry of other releases on Thursday, Apple has also issued updates to macOS Ventura 13.6, iOS & iPadOS 16.7, watchOS 9.6.3, and even macOS Monterey 12.7.

The updates are very close to the last major updates for Apple's 2022 operating systems.

Build numbers have been incremented to 22G120 for macOS Ventura, 21G816 for macOS Monterey, and 20U502 for watchOS 9.6.3. Apple's iOS 16.7 and iPadOS 16.7 have been updated to build 20H19.

As with Thursday's updates to the 2023 operating systems, Apple has not yet released detailed notes for the updates. As such, it isn't clear what's been fixed in the new versions of the operating system.

All the updates likely include fixes for minor incompatibilities between Monday's operating system releases and the older versions for users that will run devices on both operating systems.

You wouldn't see iOS 16.7 if you were on iOS 17, you'd only see 17.0.1. ¯\(°_o)/¯
