How to apply to attend WWDC 2025 in person

WWDC 2025 starts on June 9, 2025

Apple's 2025 WWDC starts on Monday, June 9 — here's how you can apply to attend the event in person.

We finally have a date for this year's Worldwide Developers Conference, which means developers should apply as soon as possible if they hope to attend. According to Apple, those who are selected will get to attend the Keynote and Platforms State of the Union, meet with Apple experts one-on-one and in group labs, explore the campus, and take part in special activities.

To apply, head to Apple's page for WWDC and click on the Apply Now button. Event pass requests will be accepted until 11:59 pm PT on Wednesday, April 2.

Applicants will be notified by end-of-day on Thursday, April 3. Apple points out that special event passes are allocated by a random selection process and are non-transferable.

This year's event will start on June 9 and run until June 13. Selected applicants will be responsible for their own transportation and lodging.

It's important to note that Apple is only accepting applications from those who are currently taking part in the Apple Developer Program, Apple Developer Enterprise Program, and Swift Student Challenge winners from 2023 through 2025.

Sorry, non-dev Apple fans, you'll have to watch the live stream from home! Fortunately, it will be a free-to-view event online, and the Keynote and Platforms State of the Union will happen on the first day, June 9.

And, we'll be covering all the details from the show, as they happen, all week long.
