Cyber Monday: Apple's sale, $110 off MacBook Airs, Office for $80, Fusion for $18

Apple on Monday kicked off its Cyber Monday sale, leaving much to be desired. Meanwhile, the company's resellers continue push the envelop on Mac pricing, knocking hundreds off of new Macs while lopping another $10 off Office 2011 for Mac and $60 off VMWare Fusion 3.0.

Apple's Cyber Monday Sale

Though not much to write home about, Electronista offers a rundown of Apple's Cyber Monday sale, which offers between $5 and $40 off a dozen of so third-party accessories like speakers, headphones, iPad stands and musical keyboards.

MacBook Airs

AirPrint Printers

The first five printers to support Apple's AirPrint wireless printing protocol for iOS devices -- all of which are made by HP -- were popular items on Black Friday at Amazon. Since then, B&H Photo has slashed their prices on each of the models and currently offers the largest savings across the board. The reseller, however, is currently out of stock of all five models, meaning new orders will not ship until B&H restocks. As such, Amazon remains the best positioned to ship the printers immediately at the steepest discounts.



Office 2011 for Mac and VMWare Fusion 3

For Mac Software, Amazon has lopped another $10 off Microsoft Office for Mac Home & Student edition, selling copies for just $79.99, a savings of $40 and the lowest price we've seen. At the same time, VMWare has discounted direct downloads of Fusion 3 to $39.99 from $79.99 while MacMall is offering a rebate that brings the retail boxed version to just $17.99 (a $52 savings).
