On this week's episode of the AppleInsider Podcast, the US is looking out for its companies, the EU is looking out for Spotify, and Korea wants to help Samsung. And, we've got new iPads to look forward to, plus FineWoven cases to collect while we still can.
It's a week of nations looking out for themselves and their companies, it's a week of global politics — and it's also been a week of comings and goings. Such as the 12.9-inch iPad Air which could be doing both, as rumors say the size is still correct, but the promised screen display improvements could be months away.
Also, Apple is reportedly trying hard to get FIFA soccer rights, whatever that means, and Spotify is trying to get a free lunch. And if you thought Epic Games vs Apple was long gone, you were right, but the two are heading back to court over the fine details. Or possibly the details of the fine.
Plus a calculator app may be coming to the iPad, but it may not matter all that much. And, FineWoven cases may very well be on their way out for good.

I know Mike runs Apple Insider but can we please not have him on the weekly Podcast in the future?
I'm a long-time listener (back to when Victor was host). All the hosts have been great. William as the well-mannered Englishman is my favourite. Mike is just too opinionated and totally changes the feel of the normally great Podcast.
