Apple on Wednesday issued a new iTunes 12 beta for the upcoming OS X 10.10 Yosemite operating system, possibly to address issues issues some users were seeing when trying to install the iOS 8 GM that was released yesterday.
Both developers and those who opted in to the OS X 10.10 Yosemite beta can download the new iTunes 12 build, which appears to contain only minor tweaks as the software's release notes remain unchanged from previous versions.
The new build is thought to rectify problems seen by developers attempting to install the iOS 8 GM, which was released yesterday ahead of a wide rollout on Sept. 17. The iOS golden master was distributed alongside the Xcode 6 GM.
Apple issued the first iTunes 12 beta in July, bringing an "elegant new design" and fresh features like family content sharing to the stalwart media consumption app.
Developers and beta testers can download the latest iTunes 12 beta via Software Update or the Mac App Store.

Yeah appleinsider should rebuild their app using the new Swift programming language, give it an iOS 7/8 look and make comments appear under the news item instead of going to the mobile site in the in-app safari browser.

Almost always want to check out a few comments of an insider article and it just sucks having to go through all that.
So has anyone found H.265/HEVC references in iTunes 12 yet?! ;) Hoping for a 4K Apple TV this year still too!
