Apple Computer has literally taken the wraps off its third Japanese retail store, as shown in the image submitted below.
Over the weekend, the company removed the building wrap and construction materials, revealing the remodeled storefront, which resides in the posh Nagoya neighborhood known as Sakae.
According to a posting on Apple's Japanese retail website, the store is set to open to the public this Saturday, January 22nd. Sources say a special media preview and briefing of the location will take place sometime on Friday.
The Nagoya store will join existing Japanese locations in Osaka and Tokyo.
Also this weekend, all of Apple's U.S.-based retail locations will open one hour early on Saturday to mark the official launch of the Mac mini, iLife '05, and iWork '05.

Well, nice, the 2nd in the Kansai Region...
but... We need more Stores in Europe..ok, I know it´s the 2nd biggest market... oh, well..maybe next year..
Dear Santa, before Apple gets to the spot above in Europe and possibly the tip of the North Pole near you, maybe they can place a store on my side of the state here in TN.
Thanks and say "hey" to Mrs. Clause.

This is undoubtly pretty funny, isn't it?

Are you on the "unpopular" side? Be honest!? I know someone from TN, they mentioned Germantown a few times so I assume they live on the "popular" side.
There is similar in Illinois; north and south, one undoubtedly more popular (populated). Four stores here and I'm in 40 minutes driving distance to reach any of them, the closest I'm only 10 minutes away from. Quite nice actually.
Yeah, we own the college football market and the rest of the state hates us for it. East TN gets pissed on quite a bit. I can't understand why Apple would put a store in Memphis. That place is a freekn' hell hole. We drove through Gary Indiana late at night a few months back and Memphis makes Gary, IN look like a freekn' day care! They really should nuke Memphis and start over. I am glad they are about 7 hours from me. The further the better.
Besides, they talk funny over there. Funny how that works out in states.
