Apple Watch Series 4 front panel possibly shown in new images

Last updated

A new photo appears to confirm the edge-to-edge display expected in the latest Apple Watch ahead of today's official announcement.

Shared by Slashleaks, the photo shows the front digitizer glass panel of an Apple Watch with the flex cable protruding from the top. There are significantly smaller bezels around the edges than the existing Apple Watch.

It is hard to tell the exact size of the screen or watch itself from the shared image, but other leaks have points to two new sizes for the Series 4 wearable — 40mm and 44mm.

Aside from the larger display, leaked images from Apple's own website appear to show off a slimmer body design as well. At present, it is impossible to judge the authenticity of the image.

We will know with certainty soon enough with Apple's "Gather Round" event slated to start at 10 AM PST on Wednesday.

Absolutely no reason to change the bands and system they introduced. Even if the made the body significantly larger, they could make that edge curve work with a larger body.
