Apple distributes seventh iOS 12.4, sixth watchOS 5.3 developer betas

Continuing the current testing round from yesterday's macOS 10.14.6 build, Apple has issued more builds to developers, this time a seventh build of iOS 12.4 and a sixth build of watchOS 5.3.

Builds of each operating system can be downloaded from the Apple Developer Center by those taking part in the testing program, along with the option to perform an over-the-air software update for devices already enrolled into the scheme. A public beta is typically made available shortly after the developer version is distributed, via the Apple Beta Software Program website.

The seventh iOS 12.4 build is number 16G5077a, replacing sixth build 16G5069a. Build six for watchOS 5.3 is number 16U5569a, up from the fifth build 16U5566a.

Apple posted the fifth developer beta build of macOS 10.14.6 on Monday.

Apple is also concurrently running developer betas for milestone releases of its operating systems, set to arrive this fall. Specifically they are for iOS 13, iPadOS 13, tvOS 13, watchOS 6 and macOS 10.15 Catalina

Both AppleInsider and Apple strongly suggest users avoid installing betas on to "mission-critical" or primary devices, due to the potential for data loss or other issues. Instead, the recommendation is to install betas onto secondary or non-essential devices, and to ensure there are sufficient backups of important data before making any major changes.

Misread. I was thinking this was the next beta for iOS 13.
