Apple's free 24-hour music video channel has launched in the U.K. and Canada, bringing a curated selection of songs reminiscent of how MTV originally worked.
Following its launch in the U.S. in October 2020, Apple Music TV has now come to both the UK and Canada. It's trying to reach both music and video audiences, so it pops up across both the Apple Music and Apple TV apps, offering the same, uninterrupted, 24-hour music videos on both.
It's oddly confusing how to find it. If you are on a Mac or iOS, you can open the Apple Music app and tap on the Browse tab.
Or on the same devices, you can alternatively open the Apple TV app and tap on Watch Now.
If you have an Apple TV 4K or Apple TV HD set-top box, then it is again in both the Apple Music and Apple TV apps. However, in Apple Music on Apple TV, the service is available under both the Browse and the separate Videos sections.
In most cases, finding Apple Music TV also requires you to scroll far down the page, below most regular categories and all current promotions.
Apple Music TV is free to watch for any users of the Apple devices it is available on. It does not require a subscription to Apple Music.

Wow, they’ve made it so hard to find this service. It’s almost like they don’t want people to know about it.
"Apple Music TV"?!
Wow, Apple has really jumped the shark on branding. I am a reasonably informed Apple person. I've heard of Apple. Apple Music. Apple TV.
Agree with the above, but the concept of restoring old school MTV-style music videos is great. Honestly, it might be more compelling to roll Apple TV into Apple Music and give people one subscription. It would differentiate “Apple TV Music” from Spotify, Netflix, HBO, Disney, Paramount, Hulu, etc etc. Everyone needs their niche.
