Apple has added another executive to its Apple TV team, with the addition of Erin May from 20th Television as a senior creative executive for the streaming service.
May will be starting work at Apple TV+'s Culver City offices on November 8. She will be reporting directly to Matt Cherniss, Apple's head of scripted television, in the role of senior creative executive.
Before arriving at Apple, May worked at 20th Television for the last year as VP of drama development, reports Deadline. Serving in the drama development team for six years, she helped in the creative development of shows with a focus on stories that were underrepresented in television programming.
Shows May were involved in include Washington Black, Our Kind of People, Dopesick, and Shots Fired.
A Harvard University graduate, May started as an assistant at CAA, before moving to Anonymous Content to work with a talent and literary manager. After interning for producers Dan Lin and John Davis, May went on to assist Peter Rice at Fox Networks Group, then joined 20th Television.

"with the addition of Erin May from 20th Television", AKA as a Rerun :*...
They should have changed their name to either 21st Century Fox or 21st Century Television. To me 20th Television is a very stupid sounding name that doesn’t make sense. 20th what?
