Microsoft and Apple have added the Apple Music app to the Microsoft Store for Xbox Series X, Series S, and Xbox One.

Xbox users can now install Apple Music, and also start with a free one-month trial. Apple's listing in the Microsoft Store claims that users can "stream millions of songs while you game, all ad-free."

"Enjoy music videos on your big screen and check out curated music video playlists," it continues. "Explore all-new stations, featuring dozens of exclusive shows created by the most iconic names in music. Available live or on demand."

The Apple Music app for Xbox is a free download from the Microsoft Store. Following the trial month, it costs from $9.99.

Previously, only Spotify was available on the Xbox ecosystem. Apple recently announced that it has over 100 million songs in its catalog, substantially more than rival Spotify.
