Jennifer Aniston doused in oil for 'The Morning Show' season 4

Filming for the next season of The Morning Show is well underway, with onlookers capturing a dramatic scene where star Jennifer Aniston gets soaked in oil.

The context of the scene isn't clear, but it appears that Aniston's character Alex Levy is attending or walking through a protest. For reasons unknown, the protestors soak her down with oil.

There's not much to the report by the New York Post other than the pictures. The mostly unrelated text associated with the images dives into already-known details about her relationship with costars Reese Witherspoon and Jon Hamm.

The scene is presumably for season four of Apple's hit streaming show that effectively launched Apple TV+.

"The Morning Show" was one of the first Apple TV+ dramas announced, and it began airing its first season in November 2019 when the service launched. Its second run didn't appear until September 2021.

The third season started streaming on September 13, 2023.

the apple blog is so desperate for clicks that it's spoiling episodes for people who are invested in the shows.

Not sure this was a good idea.  If that is REALLY used motor oil, those who change oil are supposed to use protective gloves, due to break-down chemicals that may be carcinogenic.  Hollywood does use fake blood and other materials, so maybe this was not REAL used motor oil.  Maybe it was black liquid ink?  Crude oil, before refining, also contains carcinogens, like benzene.

You can be as sure as the "real" double Martini that actors drink,  the oil is totally fake! There is no way anything thrown on Jen is anything but a movie prop!

The OIL could be CGI. They are getting pretty good at putting CGI on moving objects these days. I've seen many a time when an injury on someone's face gets magically healed while the person is moving around.

Dig deeper. There are other videos out there showing the scene as it was shot (with no oil) and then later with the cgi oil added
