How to switch from a digital to analog stopwatch on iPhone
You don't have to stick to the default Stopwatch view. Here's how to switch between a digital and analog appearance when using your iPhone to time something.
Born in San Francisco but banished to Germany, Parker has always been into computers. He fixed computers for his friends and family as long as he can remember. His first exposure to Apple and Macs in general came from circa 2006, when he got his first Mac - an iMac G3 - although it was more of a mere curiosity at the time, adding to the pile of computers that he was collecting.
His interest in Apple and its magical products besides mere curiosities came about circa 2015, when he got his first iPhone, the then-new 6S. Coming from a questionable Android phone, the iPhone was a revelation on how a device can just work, and not require babysitting/troubleshooting more often than neccesary. He kept that phone until 2021, where it just became a bit too long in the tooth - and upgraded to a 12 Pro, which he still uses today.
In 2017 he got his first non curio Mac, a mid-2012 Retina MacBook Pro, and after experiencing the magic first hand, became a believer. He used that laptop for a few years until getting an M1 Pro Macbook Pro, which replaced the older MBP and a full sized PC for all tasks while he is abroad.
Currently, he is a student at San Francisco State University, a contributer here at AppleInsider, and still fixes computers remotely from time to time.
