So....another version of Adobe CS, which is generally bloated, buggy (at first) and activation headaches. I am content with Photoshop 8 and InDesign 3 on my iMac G5. I don't think the programs really change that much, except for the Intel release. So I wonder how many will rush out to get this version when CS3 already provides Intel support.

I usually keep updated on all my software but I really think I'm going to wait this version out. Just doesn't look that compelling to me and the non-parity if will have with the Windows version bugs me to a degree. I'll probably wait until CS5 if it's interesting. Plus honestly their upgrade pricing is too expensive. CS3 isn't that old that I should have to pay $700 for an upgrade. And yes, I do use it to make money, but my clients deal almost exclusively with PDFs from me, so they won't particularly care.

Continuous Preflighting Alerts??!! That can definitely get annoying, reminds me of a certain paper-clip character... oh where oh where was that...?

"Platform: Leopard, Mac OS X Intel"

So, is it Intel only??? Would be surprised if they ditched PPC for this release. (Dreamweaver CS4 Beta is universal)

So yet another version of Creative Suite to contend with and it looks like it is only for those who are using Leopard, Mac OS X on an Intel. What's happened to the support for PowerPC machines, I am still using CS3 on a good old Dual 2 GHz PowerPC machine, and do not intend changing over yet. I note that CS4 will support 64 bit for windows, what about 64 bit for macs?
For me the release of CS4 is total non runner, i'll wait for CS5!!!
