Apple creates new WWDC 2020 playlist collection on Apple Music

In lieu of in-person musical performances, Apple has created a new Apple Music playlist collection specifically for WWDC 2020.

Past WWDC events have featured a Bash with a live concert. But due to coronavirus, this year's developer conference is held in a completely virtual fashion.

As "it wouldn't be WWDC without a little music," Apple is making that portion virtual, too. The new Apple Music playlist collections feature an opening WWDC 2020 playlist with artists like Glass Animals, Alicia Keys and Aurora — who was featured in the 2020 opening video.

The collection also features new multi-hour "Music to Code to" playlists, including ones titled "Power up," "Coding Energy," and "Coding Focus."

In the interest of allowing developers to connect and collaborate digitally, Apple is also creating new WWDC20 session and topic tags on the new Apple Developer Forums.

Hasn't shown up here in Australia yet. Doing a search in Apple Music will bring up the 2019 playlist but not the 2020 one.
