Everything you need to know about the iPhone 14 Pro launch and that 48MP camera, plus what's best in iOS 16 — and in the forthcoming iOS 16.1, all on the latest AppleInsider Podcast episode.
Host Stephen Robles and guest William Gallagher have very different takes on which iPhone 14 to buy in this week's AppleInsider podcast, but both have much to relish in Apple's new releases.
A lot of that is to do with specific iOS 16 features that are now available to almost all iPhone users, whether they're upgrading or not. But alongside features that are bound to be a hit, there are some strange omissions.
Hopefully Apple is going to smooth out some rough edges when it releases iOS 16.1 shortly, but it does also appear to have its hands full with problems in macOS Ventura. There's nothing to stop that new macOS being excellent, and definitely worth upgrading to when it's released, but there are still peculiar problems.
If you have favourite iOS or macOS features, or if you've just bought a new iPhone, tweet at Stephen (@stephenrobles) or William @WGallagher about it. Apparently you can use emojis, if you must.
And you can also use Signal to send Stephen Robles tips for the show on +1 863-703-0668. That's tips as in information, rather than money, but no one's going to stop you either way.
