The kicker is the “link removal tool”. Can’t anyone but Apple and the Chinese copies of Apple bracelet make one that doesn’t need a tool? It’s that tool that’s a real annoyance. Where did I put it, is a common refrain. Yes, the same thing can be said of the links themselves, but they’re so much easier to replace without a tool.
Can't say that I like stainless steel bands. They're too stiff to be comfortable, and fairly heavy, too. Not to mention a little slippery on the skin so the watch slides around on the wrist unless you keep it tight. Silicone bands aren't much better. I settled on nylon webbing with an integral hook & loop closure. Very light and comfortable, good grip on the skin and allows the skin under it to breathe.
