Critically acclaimed dark comedy "Physical" returns to Apple TV+ on August 2, drawing Sheila's story to a triumphant close.
"Physical" stars Rose Byrne and is set in 1980s San Diego. It follows the story of Sheila as she goes from being a disgruntled housewife to running her own aerobics empire, with some trouble in between.
According to a press release from Apple TV+, "Physical" will end with its third season. It debuts on August 2 and will have ten total episodes.
"We are so grateful to Apple, Tomorrow Studios and all our creative collaborators for the chance to bring Sheila to life in all her gritty glory," said star and executive producer Rose Byrne and creator, writer and executive producer Annie Weisman. "With this final season, Sheila's three act saga of rebellion, recovery and redemption comes to the satisfying conclusion that she and her fans so richly deserve. We feel so proud to share this last chapter with everyone."
Nothing has been revealed about the third season's plot, but things are looking up for the main character. The series opened with a vision of the future, where Sheila was the head of her own aerobics empire — which is likely where the show will lead.
The first two seasons can be streamed on Apple TV+ now. Rose Byrne is also starring in "Platonic," which begins airing its first season on May 24.
Apple TV+ is a subscription service that costs $6.99 per month. It is also available via any tier of the Apple One subscription bundle.

I know this is not directly related but can we have a drama series where adults talk to children, female children are not always bad tempered, step-mothers are not always wicked and people communicate properly? The Last Thing He Told Me does all of these, just like The Mosquito Coast and countless others. Let’s do a series which is different, eh?
