Apple on Wednesday began rolling out Apple Pay services in Portugal and Slovakia with financial backing from a number of large European banks including Monese and N26.
Apple Pay will be going live in a number of European markets on Wednesday, according to local reports, with expansion into Slovakia, Greece, and Portugal expected to occur on the same day via a variety of local partner financial institutions.
Apple on Friday announced that its "App Development with Swift" curriculum is being adopted by 70 European schools, including ones in the U.K., Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Ireland, Luxembourg, Poland, and Portugal.
