Analysts suspect Apple will offer OLED 'iPhone 8' for less than $1,000, cite market forces

Despite an expected higher construction cost, and reports suggesting that the "iPhone 8" will start at $1,000, one financial analyst believes the 10th anniversary iPhone will retail starting at $850, only a slight premium over the "iPhone 7s" and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus.

iLuv's Rainbow8 is a decent Wi-Fi smartbulb for Apple's HomeKit, but not much more

On its own iLuv's new Rainbow8 does what a HomeKit bulb needs to, and should satisfy most people. A poor app and a lack of IFTTT or Alexa integration, however, may mean there are better choices.

Samsung could have its own Apple Park with $5 billion, but has the ashes of Galaxy Note 7 instead

There are a lot of ways to blow through $5,000,000,000. Apple supposedly spent that much building its new Apple Park campus, while Samsung says it figuratively (and literally) will burn through that much capital in the aftermath of rushing its flawed Galaxy Note 7 to market and then pulling it off shelves in one of the worst operational catastrophes in the history of the smartphone industry.
