Apple's 2017 Back to School for Europe offers free wireless Beats with Macs & iPad Pros

For a limited time in participating regions students, their parents, or educational staff can get a free pair of Beats Solo3, BeatsX, or Powerbeats3 headphones when buying a Mac. The Mac mini — which hasn't been updated since 2014 — is the only Mac that isn't eligible.

People buying a 10.5- or 12.9-inch iPad Pro only get BeatsX headphones for free, but can choose to pay the difference if they want Solo3 or Powerbeats3 instead.

Apple is offering the exact same arrangement in the U.S. and Canada, but debuted promotions in those countries nearly a month ago. As in North America, Apple appears to be intentionally excluding AirPods, presumably because online shipping delays are still running as long as 4 weeks.

The countries launching Back to School today are Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, and the U.K.
