Apple's upcoming iPadOS 13.4 update will introduce support for trackpads on the company's tablets, and Logitech has debuted a pair of options for non-Pro iPads.
In its iPad Pro press release, Apple announced the first-party Magic Keyboard and trackpad support in iOS 13.4. It didn't mention third-party compatibility or support for other iPad models, but a new drop from Logitech essential confirms both of those details.
Logitech has debuted new keyboard cases that come equipped with trackpads for both the 10.2-inch iPad and the 10.5-inch iPad Air that connect via Smart Connector, meaning batteries and Bluetooth aren't required.
Both cases feature a backlit keyboard, integrated trackpad with Multi-Touch gesture support, iPadOS-specific shortcut keys and different usage modes for tasks like typing or sketching. They also sport a built-in "home" for the first-generation Apple Pencil or Logitech Crayon and a stand with 50-degree tilt.
It's also worth noting that the 10.5-inch iPad Air case will also be compatible with the 10.5-inch iPad Pro.
While the keyboard cases have been listed on Apple's online storefront, they aren't currently available. On Logitech's site, they're also listed as coming soon. Both options will retail for $149.95.
