Apple Pay promotion offers 20% off at Fanatics for Father's Day

Apple has launched a new Father's Day-related promotion, with customers of Fanatics able to secure a 20% discount on select goods bought until June 19 using Apple Pay.

The promotion, which is being emailed out to Apple Pay users in the United States, advises of the 20% discount on "select items" offered on the Fanatics online store or through the store app. The promotion covers a variety of sports apparel and fan-oriented products.

The offer runs until June 19 at 11:59pm eastern time, is available to customers based in the United States, and requires the use of coupon code APPLEPAY at checkout.

Apple is framing the offer as one to be used to celebrate Father's Day, which will occur on June 21, two days after the promotion is due to end. Apple suggests to "Make Dad's day with Apple Pay," further proposing the email recipient buys items from "Dad's favorite sports" teams.

The iPhone maker's marking of Father's Day is also being made via Apple TV , with the video streaming service set to premiere the Bryce Dallas Howard documentary "Dads" from June 19.
