Apple TV+ shares first trailer for 'The Big Conn' documentary series

Apple TV+ documentary series 'The Big Conn' gets its first trailer

"The Big Conn" is a four-part Apple TV+ documentary series with a companion podcast about Eric C. Conn, who defrauded the government and taxpayers over half a billion dollars.

Former Eastern Kentucky attorney, Eric C. Conn is known for committing the largest Social Security fraud case in history. "The Big Conn" examines his larger-than-life story, the people he defrauded, and his inevitable run from the law.

The trailer described Conn as one of the biggest lawyers in Appalachia, and his celebrity was unavoidable. He used his riches to attract porn stars, throw outrageous parties, and opened a Halloween-themed brothel. He eventually caught the eye of law enforcement after defrauding tax payers and the United States out of $550 million.

Created by Emmy Award-nominated filmmakers James Lee Hernandez and Brian Lazarte, "The Big Conn" is produced by FunMeter, with Hernandez, Lazarte and Peter King serving as executive producers, and Matt Kaye and Shannon Pence joining as co-executive producers.

Subscribers can watch the four-part documentary series on Apple TV+ and anyone can listen to the companion show on Apple Podcasts when both premiere on May 6. Customers can subscribe to Apple TV+ for $4.99 per month or via any tier of the Apple One subscription bundle.
