The acclaimed "Killers of the Flower Moon" movie by Martin Scorsese and Eric Roth is now streaming on Apple TV+ after a successful theatrical run.
"Killers" is the true story of how the Native American Osage Nation initially became rich after oil was discovered on their land, but were then brutally exploited by what the film's synopsis describes as "white interlopers." Directed by Scorsese from a screenplay by him and Eric Roth, the film opened in theaters in October 2023.
Made by and for Apple TV+, the movie got a theatrical release first and was then followed in December 2023 by a paid digital release. As previously announced, though, it is now as of January 12, 2024, available to stream for free for Apple TV+ subscribers.
Apple describes the film as "an epic Western crime drama, where real love crosses paths with unspeakable betrayal." The story is told chiefly through a romance between Ernest Burkhart and Mollie Kyle, played by Leonardo DiCaprio and now Golden Globe winner Lily Gladstone.

It's long, 3-1/2 hours, but worth every minute. If you like Native American history, you'll really appreciate this.
