iPhone 16 Plus may expand to seven colors including white and purple

Following rumors of both what colors the iPhone 16 Pro may get and how, leaker "Fixed focus digital" claims to know Apple's plans for the iPhone 16 Plus. The leaker says on Chinese social media site Weibo that the colors will be:

• Black
• Blue
• Green
• Pink
• Purple
• White
• Yellow

If correct, this would mean Apple continuing all five of the current iPhone 15 Plus colors. It would then also be adding the new White and Purple ones.

The leaker has no more information, so it's conceivable that the five apparently remaining colors could be done in different shades. It's at least likely that the iPhone 16 will get the same colors as the iPhone 16 Plus, but the leaker is specifying the Plus model.

Apple will unveil both the iPhone 16 and the iPhone 16 Plus in September.

Note that nothing in the report can be verified and Fixed Focus Digital does not appear to have any track record in Apple leaks. It has most recently stepped up its number of purported leaks, though, including a February 2024 claim that Apple has abandoned plans for an iPhone Fold.
