Now that you've got your brand new M4 iPad Pro in hand, it's time for you to protect it with one of these great iPad Pro cases.
If you have recently purchased a new iPad Pro, you may be considering which case to use with it. The new M4 iPad Pro lineup is significantly thinner than previous models, so it won't be compatible with older iPad Pro cases.
And, because it's still so new, there aren't many cases available for the new M4 iPad Pro lineup, either. But we scoured the internet and came out with a few early favorites.
Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro Case
If you're the type of person who is serious about keeping their gear safe, this is probably the case you'll want to pick up. It features both a front and back cover, keeping the back, front, and all sides of your new iPad Pro safe. On top of that, this dual-layer TPU case has been rated to exceed military drop standards, surviving 26 drops from 48 inches high.
While we're willing to bet that you're not going to be dropping your iPad that often, it's still a great choice if you routinely pass your iPad off to your kids.
It's available for both the 13-inch iPad Pro and the 11-inch iPad Pro and rings up at a reasonable $35.99.
Pitaka MagEZ Case 2
On the opposite end of the spectrum, Pikata has the perfect iPad Pro case for those of us who almost exclusively use it with the Magic Keyboard.
This lightweight case, made with aerospace-grade aramid fiber, is designed to keep the back and sides of your iPad scratch-free. And, thanks to its built-in magnets, you won't need to remove it when you use your Magic Keyboard.
It's available for both the 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro, comes in a variety of colors and patterns, and will run you $69.99.
Pitaka MagEZ Folio 2
For the times that your iPad Pro isn't connected to the Magic Keyboard, Pitaka has you covered, too. The MagEZ Folio 2 is a multi-functional case compatible with the MagEZ Case 2.
Pitka's MagEZ Folio 2 features an origami-style stand mechanism on the back of the case, allowing you to prop your iPad Pro up at four different angles. Depending on how you fold it, you can stand your iPad Pro at the perfect angle for watching videos, browsing the web, typing, and more.
The iPad Pro case also features a microfiber inside and a convenient flap to keep your Apple Pencil safe while in transit.
The MagEZ Folio 2 is available for both M4 iPad models, is available in black, white, and light blue, and costs $49.99.
ESR Classic Series Clear
If you love the sleek look of a bare iPad but want to protect it from scuffs and scratches, ESR has the perfect iPad Pro case for you. This thin, lightweight case protects against everyday bumps, scuffs, and scratches without compromising the appearance of your device.
The hard acrylic back resists yellowing, while the air-cushioned corners help keep your iPad safe from minor drops. Plus, it's fully compatible with the second-generation Apple Pencil and Apple Pencil Pro.
It's available for both M4 iPad Pro models and comes in at an inexpensive $18.99.
ESR Shift Magnetic Case
If you want a fantastic multi-purpose iPad Pro case, ESR's Shift Magnetic Case is worth looking at.
The Shift stand provides various viewing angles between 15 and 75 degrees, making it perfect for a variety of activities such as drawing, typing, watching videos, and more. It also has a pocket to securely store your Apple Pencil, ensuring it's always within reach.
You can also pop Shift off the included stand if you so choose. The case itself is magnetic, meaning you can easily mount it to your refrigerator door — or any other magnet-compatible surface.
ESR's Shift Magnetic Case is available for the 2024 11-inch iPad Pro and the 13-inch model. It comes in black, blue, brown, purple, and red, and costs $55.99.

Looking for sleeves! Leather, pleather, fabrics, etc.
Thanks! The Pitaka MagEZ Case 2 case looks exactly like something I've been looking for to use in conjunctions with my Magic Keyboard. I will definitely take a closer look at that one.
I picked up the Pitaka MagEZ Case 2 over the weekend. My primary requirement was to be able to carry my iPad Pro more securely when it's off its Magic Keyboard. My thin iPad Pro 11 is super slippery and I always feared that I would drop it. This case definitely helps in the grip department. The smart connector passthrough seems to work well. The case is attractive, fits very well, and does not interfere with the ability to fold your Magic Keyboard + iPad Pro combination. However, due to its thinness I would not expect that it would protect your iPad Pro very well in a drop scenario. Fortunately the risk of dropping my iPad Pro has been greatly reduced due to the much more secure grip I am able to achieve with the case mounted.
