Apple's Web-based iWork suite was updated Friday with new languages for Pages, Numbers and Keynote, expanding international support for the beta iCloud productivity apps.
Continuing the stream of software updates launched on Thursday tied to the launch of OS X Yosemite, Apple released redesigned iWork for Mac and iOS suites with built-in support for iOS Continuity features and iCloud Drive.
Coming on the heels of an updated iWork for iCloud, Apple on Thursday released refreshed Keynote versions for both OS X and iOS, adding new features like password-protected file sharing and productivity enhancements.
Following Apple's announcement of retooled iLife and iWork apps for both iOS and OS X on Tuesday, the company has started rolling out the new software to users via the App Store.
At the release of iPhone 5c and 5s, Apple announced it would begin throwing in free copies of its Pages, Numbers, Keynote, iPhoto and iMovie apps. It now says (in text that has since been removed from its website) it will add a free copy of Garage Band, too, with In App Purchases of instruments and sounds.
The new iWork for iCloud will bring Pages, Numbers and Keynote to the Web, allowing users to quickly access, edit and save their documents from the Internet.
Apple on Tuesday refreshed the iOS versions of its productivity suite, with Pages, Numbers and Keynote, all of which boast improved compatibility with their Windows counterparts.
