What to expect from a March 25 Apple News and streaming video event -- and what not to

If the date is correct, we're likely to have an event on March 25 that will see Apple launching two major services including a more coherent Apple News service with magazines and other publications, plus the debut of Apple's streaming video service -- but what about hardware?

Apple again selling iPhone 7, iPhone 8 in Germany with only Qualcomm modems

Modified iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 models are to go back on sale in Germany using Qualcomm modems instead of Intel, to avoid a ban in the country as part of an ongoing worldwide legal battle between Qualcomm and Apple.

You can ascribe motives to Apple switching off Facebook's internal apps, but you can't argue that it didn't have the right or even the obligation to do so -- and it may not have gone far enough. We may rarely read the terms and conditions, but Facebook did and broke them anyway, and is now paying the price.
