Apple's "Far Out" iPhone 14 event has been announced, plus iPadOS 16.1 is now officially delayed, and Apple launches self-service repair for Macs.
It's unusual for there to be an Apple event on a Wednesday, but we have heard rumors of Apple wanting to bring out the iPhone 14 as soon as possible.
Naturally, as well as the iPhone 14 range, we're all expecting the Apple Watch Series 8 to be announced. Yet there could be at least one more product revealed, perhaps even the long-awaited "AirPods Pro 2."
It is very unlikely that this will be the only fall event, though, and especially so considering iPadOS 16 is now delayed by a few weeks. Rumors point to multiple Macs also being announced at some point before the end of 2022, but which depends mostly on Apple's processor strategy.
Host Stephen Robles has been traveling a lot in recent weeks, so he discusses the advantages of finally getting to travel with his AirPods Max and the MagSafe Battery Pack. This discussion leads to travel apps, app privacy, and sharing your location indefinitely with another person in Find My.
Finally, Apple has expanded its self-service program to include MacBooks like the 14-inch MacBook Pro. We discuss the repair program and the difficulty of trying to fix your own devices.
