New images have leaked of the iPhone 15 Pro with controversial changes to the mute switch, plus iOS 16.4 is coming very soon with possible leaks of new AirPods models, and more, all on this week's episode of the AppleInsider Podcast.
Everything points to iOS 16.4 coming out on March 28, 2023, right alongside the launch of Apple Music Classical. But there are signs that there could be more — hidden details in the iOS code hint at a new AirPod release.
Much further away is the iPhone 15 Pro, but we're entering peak rumor season and a new purported image leak has raised concerns. The famous iPhone mute switch that has been there since the beginning, could be being replaced.
Also in this edition of the AppleInsider podcast, TikTok gets ever closer to a US ban despite its CEO's best efforts in talking to Congress.
And if it ain't broke, don't fix it — unless you want to. Totally on a whim, host Stephen Robles decided to switch everything over from Gmail to Fastmail. Hear how he got on and whether he regrets his late-night decision or not.

The Samsung phone is cut from a block of chocolate that is difficult to insert or remove from a narrow pocket. Also, the 10x optical zoom seems gimmick. Fingerprint security is a technological past that Apple does not want to bring back. Face ID is much faster and more secure when particularly even wet hands. There is nothing exciting in S23. All I think is that Andrew is dominated by something outside of the Apple ecosystem.
