Apple TV Channels adds IFC Films Unlimited, goes live in Latin America [u]

Timed to coincide with the Toronto Film Festival this week, IFC Films on Wednesday announced its over-the-top streaming service, IFC Films Unlimited, has expanded to Apple TV Channels. Apple's streaming services solution also went live in a number of countries in Latin America.

The new Apple News+ service has landed for us all, but we've only had a sneak peek at Apple TV+, Apple TV Channels, and Apple Arcade. Apple's March 25 event came with almost no detail on what didn't launch immediately, but the company has proven that it can literally afford to keep us waiting like it has before, because it has a plan and the wherewithal to wait out the slings and arrows.

At the company's March special event, Apple has revealed its much-awaited Apple TV Channels streaming video service, coupled with an updated Apple TV app, making that available across the entire range of Apple devices including the Mac. Apple TV Channels will begin in May.
