Users attempting to access Apple's iCloud web portal on Wednesday were met with an error message stating the service is unreachable.
As seen in the screenshot above, iCloud.com appears to be down for some users. The extent of the outage is unknown at this time.
Apple in an update to its system status webpage confirmed an "issue" is impacting iCloud web apps. The company is investigating the problem and will update users as more information becomes available.
Problems began at 3:25 p.m. Pacific, according to Apple. It is unclear when service will be restored, though issues are typically resolved in a few hours. AppleInsider checks show iCloud.com is intermittently available at the time of this writing.
Apple last experienced iCloud.com difficulties in early June, when an undisclosed issue with Apple ID left multiple services, including Mail on iOS and Mac, unusable.
Update: The problem was resolved at 5:10 p.m. Pacific.

I can’t access iCloud and it isn’t this problem. On my iMac, with whatever is the latest Safari on High Sierra, I cannot even get the login dialog. It loads the page but does nothing. It eventually claims it cannot connect to iCloud.
On my MacBook Pro 5,5 with the same browser and OS (which isn’t officially supported, BTW), it works fine.
This has been a known problem for some time as you can find mention of it around the web. There’s no working solution. Clearing cache and other browser data does NOTHING.
