Confirming our initial report from over a month ago, sources have presented AppleInsider with documentation directly from ATI technologies that indicates a Macworld launch of their Macintosh-based RADEON graphics cards.
According to the documentation, Apple will introduce three new desktop computers that will feature new ATI graphics cards. The first product, of course, are Apple's newly updated iMacs. These units are said to sport RAGE 4XL chips.
The remaining two desktops are said to be "PowerMac" based. While one of these units will be Apple's revised PowerMac G4, it is unclear whether the second model will be Apple's long-awaited Multiprocessor PowerMac G4s or the company's highly rumored Macintosh Cube desktop.
Both these PowerMac based systems will "ship with RAGE 128 PRO standard and RADEON," ATI documentation revealed. A large ATI banner already hangs at the site of the Macworld Expo New York that reads "The New Face of Graphics: RADEON," sources said.
