Apple issues fifth macOS 10.13.3 beta to developers

Apple on Tuesday released a fifth developer beta of macOS 10.13.3, cleaning up code ahead of the High Sierra update's official launch.

The new beta is available through Apple's Developer portal, or else through the Updates tab at the Mac App Store. Accompanying notes make no mention of specific changes.

The fourth beta was seeded on Jan. 9, alongside early code for iOS 11.2.5, watchOS 4.2.2, and tvOS 11.2.5.

macOS 10.3.3 will likely further address the "Meltdown" and "Spectre" vulnerabilities discovered in Intel and ARM-based processors, and tackle a bug that allowed any password to unlock the App Store menu under System Preferences.
