Apple has shared the first official trailer for upcoming Apple TV+ series "Lisey's Story," which based on the 2006 Stephen King novel of the same name and slated for release in June.
"Lisey's Story," stars Julianne Moore and Clive Owen, will debut on Friday, June 4. The first two episodes will be released that day, with an additional six being released on a weekly schedule every Friday.
"Based on the novel by Stephen King, this terrifying thriller follows widow Lisey Landon (Julianne Moore) as a series of disturbing events revives memories of her marriage to author Scott Landon (Clive Owen) and the darkness that plagued him," Apple wrote of the series.
King himself has written the series, which will be directed by Pablo Larrain. J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot Productions and Warner Bros. Television will produce the series.
In an April interview, King said the novel was inspired by his own marriage to novelist Tabitha King.

So, it is more feel-good stuff, like another Ted Lasso?
Am interested in this as an erstwhile Stephen King fan, though I cannot stand Julianne Moore.
I stopped reading King when Wolves of Calla came out and he got all caught up in tying everything to The Dark Tower. But that doesn't take away from the fact that his novels like Pet Semetary, Salem's Lot, Carrie, Cujo, It, etc., were amazing.
