Apple has announced that the eight-episode murder mystery comedy "The Afterparty" is to stream on Apple TV+ from January 28, 2022.
Describing the show as a "genre-defying series," Apple says that the first three episodes will launch at the same time. The subsequent five editions will follow weekly on Fridays.

">previously reported, "The Afterparty" is set at a high school reunion where one person is murdered. It's a Rashomon-style drama, where the same incidents are recounted from different characters' points of view.
Each episode will also be shot in a different visual style, and embody a different movie genre.
Tiffany Haddish, from "Girls Trip," plays the central character of Detective Danner. The partygoers, school friends, and suspect, include Ben Schwartz, best known as Jean-Ralphio in "Parks and Recreation."
The series also stars Sam Richardson, Zoe Chao, Ike Barinholtz, Ilana Glazer, Dave Franco, Jamie Demetriou, and John Early.
