DoorDash delivers convenience with Apple Reminders integration

DoorDash now lets you import grocery lists straight from Apple's Reminders app, making things a little less chaotic when trying to juggle holiday responsibilities.

The new integration lets iOS users import their grocery lists from the Reminders app into DoorDash, automatically adding items to their shopping cart. For those without iOS, there's also the option to paste a list directly into the app.

The update is part of a larger effort by DoorDash to make shopping more convenient for the holidays. A redesigned shopping experience lets users search for items across multiple retailers, comparing prices and delivery times at a glance.

The integration with reminders ensures that even last-minute additions, like extra wrapping paper or baking supplies, won't be forgotten. The company also makes it easier to tackle other errands. Features like bundling multiple store orders and shopping for recipes in one click let users manage everything.

For Black Friday and Cyber Monday, DashPass users can enjoy additional savings of $20 on retail orders over $60 between November 29 and December 5. The discount stacks with in-store promotions from major retailers like Best Buy, Lowe's, and Sally Beauty.

As the holiday season continues, DoorDash is extending discounts on gifts, groceries, and more through December 24.

Now if DoorDash would just vet their drivers better, and find ones who won't steal half the groceries from the order.  Or even all of them, marking the order as cancelled by the user.  Yes, complaining gets your money back (most of the time), but it's still a royal pain in the posterior.
