A carrier in South Korea has seemingly leaked the specifications for the iPhone 17 lineup, including 8K video support for the Pro models and details for the iPhone 17 Air.

Apple is just two days away from revealing details for the upcoming lineup of iPhone 17 smartphones. However, it seems that the specifications for the inbound models may have already been released.

Images shared by leaker @Jukanlosreve on X depict specification sheets distributed internally by mobile phone networks in South Korea. It includes not only core specifications for the four main iPhone releases, but also a comparison between the iPhone 17 Air and the Samsung S25 Edge.

The Pro models are said to be using the A19 Pro chip and 12GB of memory, while the Air and standard using the A19 with 8GB of memory.

Screen-wise, the iPhone 17 will use a 6.3-inch display, as will the iPhone 17 Pro. The iPhone 17 Air will have a 6.6-inch panel, with the Pro Max still the biggest at 6.9 inches.

The rear cameras appear to be the usual two for the iPhone 17, with a 48MP sensor joined by a 12MP version. The Air will have one 48MP camera, capable of filming 4K video.

On the Pro side, there will be the use of 48MP sensors, as well as a claim of 8K-resolution video capture.

Battery capacity is listed at 3,600mAh for the iPhone 17, 2,800mAh for the Air, 3,700mAh for the Pro, and 6,000 for the Pro Max.

Capacity-wise, the iPhone 17 and Air will range from 128GB to 512GB. The Pro will go from 128GB to 1TB, and the Pro Max from 256GB to 1TB.

The specifications are seemingly in line with rumors for the most part. That is the major problem, though — carriers are not briefed ahead of time. As a general rule, spec sheets are prepared from the rumor mill and altered behind-the-scenes between the event and publication on the assorted websites across the world.
