The Studio" and "Severance" helped Apple TV+ secure 15 early wins on the first night of the 77th Emmy Awards.
Apple TV+ already set records with its Emmy award nominations in July, with "Severance" securing 27 nominations and "The Studio" getting 23. For the first night of the awards presentation, those nominations translated into wins.
For the first night, the two Apple TV+ shows achieved 15 wins collectively. "The Studio" was the better of the two with nine awards.
That list includes Bryan Cranston getting Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series, as well as the show achieving Outstanding Casting for a Comedy Series, and Outstanding Music Supervision.
"Severance" did better with the nominations, but still managed to get six awards. Merritt Wever was recognized for her role with a win as Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series.
This isn't all of the awards Apple could get from the Emmy's. The second night will air on September 14 and feature the top-line categories, including Outstanding Drama Sries and Outstanding Comedy Series.
